Should you be lucky enough to be drawn at any one of our 99 Draws throughout the Carnival, you will be asked to pick the horse you think will win.

If your selection wins, you will receive the payment highlighted with the corresponding horse on the following three pages. All other placings for your horse can be found in the payout table to the right.

Royal Blue

Considered the worlds best stayer in 1997, Might and Power took out the Caulfield-Melbourne Cup double in that year. Leading all-the-way in both Cups, this front-running style of racing endeared him to a legion of race fans across the nation

Subzero began racing as a three year old and built up some very impressive race results throughout his racing career. Arguably the most famous grey to grace Australian racetracks, Sub Zero won the Melbourne Cup in 1992.

Apple Green
The most famous horse ever to race in Australia, Phar Lap became the darling of Australian race crowds during the Great Depression of the 1930s. The mighty chestnut was the only horse ever to win all four days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival including the Melbourne Cup carrying a massive
62.5 kgs.

Orange

Purple

One of the greatest New Zealand thoroughbreds to race in Asutraliasia, Carbine's 1890 Melbourne Cup win is the stuff of legend. Carrying 66kg (24kg's more than the second placed horse), he beat a field of 39 startes and set a new race record time.
